Sri Vittaldas Maharaj is renowned for his Divyanama Sankeerthana and teachings on Bhaktha Vijayam. He is considered a divine guide who cultivates the ancient Hindu culture.

Gurukulavas ’09 was an outcome of his concept and vision. In order to inculcate the sacred traditions right from the childhood, "Gurukulavas" was organized in May 2009. During this event all the children went though daily Yogasana, Prayer, Sri Guru Dharshan and worshipping Sri Panduranga, learning Sampradhaya Bhajans, acquiring knowledge on Bhaktha Vijayam and devotion to the Lord. The other activities that the children were trained are Sthothra Parayana, Kummi, Kolattam, Kolam simultaneously with fun, frolic and color viz., Veedhi Bhajans (Nagara Sankeerthana) and interesting games on Puranic incidents and characters.

We have truly motivated with the enthusiasm of the children including their families and wish to conduct GURUKULAVAS 2010 for 200 children; in order to reach to the level of Vittaldas Maharaj’s future vision.

Keeping the overwhelming response and innumerable requests, we think of selecting the participants on FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis only. It is hereby requested to send us the duly filled in nominations to the Ashram by April 15, 2010.
